By the way, is it the bus the Tokyo Bay Aqualine Express bus? Yep that's the same one. Just make sure you go to the right bus stop and check to see that the bus has 海ほたる on their schedule. For the most part just take note of when the bus to Umi Hotaru begins and ends so you don't skip it or end up stuck there. >.<
I don't know how long it takes by bus, but by JR it does take around 40min or a bit more (always leave time for possible train problems too) to go from Ikebukuro to Kawasaki.
