Oh, but in the end though..I think the main reason why folks stop being fans is that they loose interest in the object of their fandom. Indifference is the worst thing in any relationship -- that's basically in the dead zone.

It's at the point where you think to yourself," Whatever! Who cares?" --that fandom stops.
